And here it is, my fully rebranded and relaunched website! Welcome to Conexus Communications. I’ve worked in the translation and communications business for many years already and thought it was high time I updated my online profile to reflect the range of services I now find myself offering. Having long specialised in PR and translation services for the motorsport industry, the last ten years have seen me moving into an array of other fields, many of which I now consider additional specialisms of mine.

Much has changed since I took my first steps as a translator, not least the industry itself. There are constant challenges, just as there are in any field I guess, but the fact that I have significant experience in the media and communications sector means that I have been able to adapt, update and extend my offer to suit both the needs of my clients and the current climate. I am as happy drafting content as I am translating it, and whether we’re talking travel & tourism, ceramics, sport, commerce, or fashion (for example), you can be sure that I’m comfortable and experienced with the subject matter being sent by way. While my racing background has seen the automotive and motorcycle industries become natural specialisms of mine, my comms background means that I’m equally capable of handling marketing, social media and advertising materials.

As a member of several professional associations, I try my best to keep up with my CPD by working to develop new skills and improve on those I already possess. Courses in journalism, social media marketing and copywriting have helped me hone my English writing skills, fundamental when it comes to translating and localising content for so many different clients. And now I’m exploring a whole new world, that of psychology, a field that has always fascinated me and that I’m set to learn much more about by embarking on a Masters degree course.
